Yvette Fama

Somatic Psychotherapist, MA, LMFT Breathe and Dream Psychotherapy
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Attachment Issues, Dissociation,

Introduction

Somatics is derived from the Greek word “soma” meaning body. Somatic Therapy encompasses a wide range of approaches that explore the bodymind connection. My history with somatics began at age three when I started dancing. The dance and sports related injuries lead to a 27 year career in physical therapy. It’s my goal to bridge what I feel is a gap in both the medical and psychological fields. The area I specialize are : individuals and couples who have experienced t-traumas, T-traumas, PTSD, connecting/reconnect with their somatic selves. Sex therapy with individuals ranging from Ace to BDSM/kink community and all in between are welcome.
