Introduction

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor located in Brunswick, Maine. With compassion, respect and humor, I provides counseling to adults for trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD and substance abuse. I have been working in the field of Substance Abuse and Mental Health since before I acquired my BA in 1970. I earned an MA in Psychology and Counseling from Assumption College in 1973 and an MS in Management from Antioch University in 1986. I have designed and managed community based prevention/intervention programs and EAP programs, supervised personnel, taught graduate and undergraduate courses in human services and management as well as taught parenting classes. I have training in Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a level II therapist and other trauma treatment methods. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
