I’m Theresa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist with a deep passion for embodied healing. My approach blends clinical expertise with somatic practices, mindfulness, and compassionate presence. With years of experience working in clinical settings like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, The VA, and UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital; as well as specialized training in trauma processing, somatic therapy, and embodiment practices, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to my work. My approach is shaped not only by my clinical background but also by my own journey through grief, loss, chronic illness and pain , and healing relationships. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how life’s challenges—whether trauma, relationship struggles, or everyday stresses—show up in both body and mind. I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of challenges: relationship issues, life transitions, chronic illness, grief, depression, anxiety, OCD, Mood Disorders, or simply the complicated path of coming home to yourself- remembering who you were “before that thing happened.” My role isn’t to “fix” you but to gently reflect the goodness, strength, and resilience that already live within you and have been present all along. Together, we’ll engage both mind and body, combining evidence-based techniques with somatic awareness to help you reconnect, regulate, and rebuild your sense of safety and presence. This is a space that honors your experience and invites your pace, where I hope you can explore your whole self with compassion and trust. Whether you’re healing from trauma, anxiety, or just feeling disconnected, I’m here to support your unique path toward wholeness. I would be honored to here to walk alongside you and offer my clinical insights as you find clarity, calm, and a deeper connection to who you truly are.
