Introduction

Meet our Therapists: Acacia Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Simple Soul Counseling Services, with over 14 years' experience as a psychotherapist. She graduated from Harding University with her Master's in Counseling in 2008, and Education Specialist Degree in 2009. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision through Walden University. Acacia is an educator and advocate at heart, and has additional certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Seed Digging Professional Training (SD-P). She specializes in working with anxiety disorders and victims of trauma and relationship abuse. She is dedicated to helping clients heal from trauma experiences, learn to set healthy boundaries in their lives, and cope with the symptoms of trauma. She also has additional training and experience in ADHD testing and helping clients and their families in managing the symptoms of ADHD. Acacia is offering TOVA and other ADHD diagnostic therapy sessions at the Harrison clinic. To schedule an appointment with Acacia, please call 870-266-6220. Teresa Collett is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Masters of Social Work from University of Arkansas Little Rock in 2007. She specializes in working with children and adolescents (but also loves working with adults!) and she has additional training and certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Technology-Assisted Counseling (telehealth). She has worked with many children and their families across the state, and is well versed in diagnosing and treating many emotional and behavioral issues with this population. Teresa is friendly and warm. She creates a non-judgmental, empathetic, and inviting space for clients to share their stories and identify ways to overcome trauma, and learn ways to manage and cope with emotions and challenges they face. Teresa is offering telehealth sessions, and has evening appointments available. To schedule an appointment with Teresa, call 870-204-5640. Sarah Howard is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the field working as a therapist for over 16 years. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Harding University, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and an Associate of Arts from Arkansas State University in Beebe. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, life transitions, trauma, and parenting struggles. She has a particular passion for supporting middle schoolers and teens as they navigate the unique challenges of adolescence. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in helping people feel truly seen and understood. She loves helping clients work toward meaningful goals, and incorporates humor wherever possible, as she believes growth doesn’t always have to be serious. Outside of work, you will usually find Sarah spending time with her family and dogs, or enjoying the sunshine doing just about anything outdoors. Sarah is currently offering telehealth sessions for the practice. To schedule an appointment with Sarah, please call 870-204-5640. Joshua Estes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 5 years working in the mental health field. He earned his Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. Joshua has worked across both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. He has provided therapy to individuals ranging in age from six to ninety-six and brings a deep respect for the diverse experiences and needs of each client. While he specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, he welcomes individuals of all ages into his practice. His therapeutic approach blends evidence-based structure with warmth and flexibility. Joshua uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as his primary modalities, while also integrating trauma-informed and person-centered techniques. This combination allows him to tailor his interventions to meet clients exactly where they are, whether they are seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, or more complex diagnoses. Joshua has worked extensively with clients experiencing social phobia, agoraphobia, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, bipolar disorder (I and II), PTSD, adjustment disorders, and traits associated with cluster B personality disorders. His goal is to provide clients with practical tools that foster resilience, reduce emotional suffering, and build confidence in navigating everyday life. With a calm and supportive presence, Joshua is committed to walking alongside his clients on their path to healing, clarity, and personal growth. Joshua is seeing clients in person at our Rogers location, and one day a week at our Harrison location. He is also well-versed with telehealth therapy, but prefers to see his clients in person. To schedule an appointment with Joshua, please call 870-204-5640. Meet our Doctor: Dr. Saadia Haneef is a Psychiatrist who specializes in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and has been practicing in Northwest Arkansas since 2011. After completing Kindergarten through Medical School in Florida, Dr. Haneef was ready to explore new horizons. She completed her Psychiatry Residency and her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. Soon thereafter, her husband’s job helped her discover Northwest Arkansas, which they have found to be a great place to raise a family and call home. Dr. Haneef believes prioritizing your mental health is key in helping you attain your best overall health and quality of life. She is looking forward to providing you or your family member the thorough, compassionate care she would want for her family members.
