Hi, I’m Shelly Donovan, a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I work with adult individuals and couples who want to feel more connected, confident, and emotionally secure, both within themselves and in their relationships. Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher and also worked in the nonprofit and insurance sectors. Across all of these roles, one thing remained consistent: my deep desire to support people in meaningful ways. That desire eventually led me to the field of therapy. In my work today, I help clients untangle painful patterns, heal emotional wounds, and build stronger, more fulfilling connections. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, or life transitions, I offer a compassionate space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what you truly need. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-based approach that helps people move from disconnection and distress toward deeper emotional safety and closeness. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that change happens when we feel understood. If you’re ready to feel more connected and less alone in what you’re carrying, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
