I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) passionate about working with clients from different backgrounds. I have spent the entirety of my career working in community mental health organizations providing therapy to individuals, families, and couples in the Chicagoland area. I honor building a genuine relationship with my clients and providing client-centered, trauma-informed care. Therapy is where clients can express their feelings and emotions through nonjudgemental explorations to work on their journey toward healing. I have experience supporting individuals who have experienced abuse and neglect, grief and loss, family and relationship issues, anxiety and depressive symptoms, and provide parent coaching services. I am a Triple P parenting coach. I have special interests in women's issues (sexual abuse and assault), anxiety and depression, and issues related to balancing culture and tradition in minority communities. I attended Southern Illinois University- Carbondale and received a BA in psychology. I obtained a master's degree in social work from Erikson Institute, where I specialized in children and families.
