Samantha Rodriguez and Lesley Banda both graduated from the University of Iowa School of Social work in 2020. Samantha established Flourish Counseling Services, PLLC in 2024 to continue providing accessible services with the flexibility that an independent practice offers. Read below for more information about Samantha and Lesley ~*~ Hello, I am Samantha Rodriguez and I have been working as a therapist since 2020. I focus on client-centered approaches and enjoy collaborating with clients. I have completed over 150 hours of Play Therapy training, trained in EMDR, specialize in grief processing, and have experience working with families who have HHS involvement. I have provided services in several school districts and enjoy working with clients of all ages and their families. I currently provide school-based therapy services at the Collins Maxwell Community School District. I use a blend of therapy modalities and a dash of humor to make a comfortable environment for clients. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, reading webcomics, playing Dungeons and Dragons, crafting, doing nail art, and spending time with my pets, friends, and family. *Samantha is not currently accepting new office clients* ~*~ Hello! I'm Lesley, and I am a bilingual mental health therapist (English/Spanish) with a client-centered approach, dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for healing and growth. Since 2020, I've had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, helping them navigate life's challenges and build on their strengths. My training includes 150 hours of Play Therapy, certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I also integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities and humor into my practice to tailor care to each person's unique needs and goals. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my two golden retrievers, Koda and Milo, friends, and family.
