Hello, I'm Sam. Sometimes you need help developing or strengthening the tools for your toolbox to tackle life's challenges, and I want to be that support to guide you through your mental health journey. I am passionate about making a difference by supporting others during challenging or difficult times in their lives as well as during life transitions and day to day life. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master's in Social Work, concentrating on Mental Health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am licensed to practice clinical social work in Colorado and Arkansas. I focus on helping adults by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Interpersonal Psychotherapy skills, breathwork, and mindfulness exercises. These methods help you develop coping skills and tools to break down the barriers you feel in your life. My primary areas of work include medical issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief/loss/bereavement, perinatal mental health problems, military/Veteran support, aging, and dementia. Additionally, I offer support for day to day stress, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, and spirituality. Working with me means you'll find a compassionate and understanding space where we can collaboratively work on your goals. I believe in the power of therapy to foster growth and healing, and I'm here to help you navigate through your unique challenges. If you're ready to start this journey together, I invite you to reach out. Let's work towards building a healthier, more fulfilling life.
