Life's stressors, challenges, and transitions can feel overwhelming at times. In therapy, we'll work together to build on your strengths and develop meaningful strategies to support your growth, well-being, and ability to navigate life with greater resilience and clarity. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 1998. With fifteen years of experience providing individual counseling to adults in a private practice setting, I have also worked with young adults and their parents/guardians in a medical setting. My background has given me a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the unique challenges different individuals face. I focus on adults, including young adults, and utilize a client-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. My practice employs multiple modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and client-centered therapy. I believe it is a privilege to support and collaborate with individuals in fostering an increased sense of emotional well-being. My specialties include anxiety, depression, life transitions, medical issues, stress, and caregiver support. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just feeling overwhelmed, I'm here to help you navigate through it with empathy and understanding. Working with me means you'll find a safe, supportive space where your experiences and feelings are validated. I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and improve your emotional well-being. If you're ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling life, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to create positive change.
