Introduction

Hi there! My name is Rose and I am an associate clinical social worker providing therapy virtually in California. I specialize in working with those navigating stressful life transitions including “adulting” or becoming first time parents. My personal and professional journey has also given me a special connection with NICU parents and moms in postpartum. I love my job because I get to witness individuals and couples learn to understand their unique voice and write new chapters filled with self-compassion, healing, and a deeper appreciation for life. What you might expect: My approach to therapy is relational and psychodynamic meaning we will explore your past and current experiences together in order to find new ways forward. I incorporate CBT, mindfulness techniques, and solution focused interventions to provide practical ways to apply what we learn outside of sessions. Outside the office you’ll catch me chasing my two littles, drinking (another) coffee, re-reading Harry Potter, or cuddling my forever-“puppy” Truffles 🙂 I know it takes great courage to reach out and allow someone to see us, and even more courage to make lasting changes. I’d love to connect with you and offer you a safe space to introduce therapy at a comfortable pace, or pick up where you might’ve left off. www.welcometosaguaro.com
