I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I’m also an accredited Christian Counselor, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel supported and understood. I specialize in trauma-informed care, with a focus on triage, trauma, emergency response, and crisis intervention. My clinical experience includes serving on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, working with MHMR of Tarrant County, and providing support to military families and veterans through Military One Source. It was a true honor to serve our military families for over four years. In addition to that work, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples in private practice, across all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. My experience spans from traditional therapy settings to high-intensity crisis roles, where I’ve helped individuals navigate some of their most critical moments—including those experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts and active attempts. I also have experience assisting individuals to work through challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma using evidence-based approaches, including Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With over 35 years in healthcare, my path began as a Certified Nurse Assistant and later led to a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas. My passion for helping others was deeply shaped by personal experience—especially advocating for my son, who underwent over 40 surgeries after birth. I understand the emotional weight of long-term and terminal illness, and I bring that empathy into every session. As your therapist, it’s a privilege to walk alongside you through life’s challenges and transitions. I’m deeply committed to creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow.
