Introduction

Meet Our Clinicians at Reflective Psychological Services: We're honored to introduce our diverse and compassionate team of therapists. Each of us brings a unique background, voice, and approach to this work, but we all share one goal: to create safe, affirming, and healing spaces where you can grow and thrive. All services are currently offered remotely throughout Michigan. ____________________ Ryan Williams, LLMSW (he/him) Hi, I’m Ryan, an LLMSW -- As a polyamorous person, I understand how difficult it can be to find a therapist who truly gets where you’re coming from—without pathologizing your differences. I draw from both lived experience and professional training to offer care that’s respectful, informed, and empowering. I provide supportive, understanding, and judgment-free online therapy for people of all backgrounds throughout Michigan. As your therapist, I’ll be here not only to help you navigate challenges, but also to celebrate your wins. Together, we’ll explore ways to achieve your goals, improve your relationships, and deepen your self-awareness.

I’m committed to providing empathetic and affirming mental health care for people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles.

I currently offer therapy under the supervision of Alexa Sorensen, LMSW. ___________________ Susan (they/she) Hi, I’m Susan, an MSW intern — I’m a queer, gender non-binary therapist who brings deep compassion and a wide range of life experience to the work I do. Over the years, I’ve been a hospital chaplain, pastor, caregiver, and even a race car driver—each chapter has shaped how I show up: with empathy, presence, and a steady sense of care.

I offer remote therapy for people navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, religious trauma, grief, identity shifts, and life transitions. I especially love supporting LGBTQIA2S+ folks, older adults, caregivers, and anyone feeling isolated or overwhelmed. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. If you’re ready to explore what’s next, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. I currently offer therapy under the supervision of Alexa Sorensen, LMSW, ____________________ Kari (any pronouns) Hi, I’m Kari, an MSW intern -- I’m a queer, trauma-informed therapist who works with LGBTQIA+ adults, folks healing from religious trauma, and anyone navigating identity shifts, mental health challenges, or the everyday complexities of being human. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in social justice.

I believe in integrating the mind-body connection to help you be present, process hard things creatively, and liberate yourself from limiting narratives. I currently offer therapy under the supervision of Alexa Sorensen, LMSW, ____________________ Alexa Sorensen, LMSW (She/Her) Hi, I'm Alexa, an LMSW and the Owner and Lead Therapist at Reflective Psych. Life is challenging, beautiful, and unpredictable—and you don’t have to face it alone. I am a trauma-informed therapist who blends real-world experience, empathy, and clinical training to walk alongside you. With a Master’s in Social Work from GVSU and a background in nonprofit and corporate spaces, I show up as more than just a therapist—I am a teammate, a sounding board, and a steady presence. Whether you’re navigating transitions, carrying old wounds, or feeling stuck, we will explore together what healing and growth can look like on your terms. If you’re feeling overwhelmed from trying to keep it together at work, in your relationships, or inside your own mind, I offer a space to take a breath and untangle what’s weighing on you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, or neurodivergent challenges, this is a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with clarity and confidence. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and someone with extensive knowledge in polyamory, consensual non-monogamy (CNM), ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and alternative lifestyles, I provide affirming, knowledgeable support for people exploring identity, sexuality, and relationships—with compassion, authenticity, and no judgment of any kind.
