Hello! My name is Rachel! My pronouns are she, her, and hers. I am a licensed professional counselor-in-training. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families. I work with individuals aged 10 and up. Individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and identities. I assist individuals experiencing or have concerns surrounding eating disorders, gender/sexual expression, identity, culture, racial issues, body/self image, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, relational problems, life transitions, and safety concerns (self-harm/suicidal ideation). With a client-centered and integrative approach, these experiences and/or concerns can be met with a therapeutic environment and process that is aimed at healing and improving well-being. Together, we create a space that allows you to be seen and heard. We work together to form goals and a plan to achieve what you need for yourself mentally and physically. It can be tough and daunting taking those first steps on your mental health journey, especially when there are so many conversations about the intimidation, stigmatization, access, and complexity of mental health. However, I strive to provide a therapeutic space for each individual where they can be comfortable enough to show up as themselves and become a better version of themselves. If this speaks to you, please do not hesitate to either call or email to start your journey. I look forward to working alongside you.
