*Fluent in Spanish* *Offer individual (teens and adults), family, and couples therapy* I believe that people have an innate desire to grow and connect, and that a supportive environment can greatly enhance those efforts to thrive. I mainly use an insight-oriented approach to support the exploration of problematic patterns that repeat over the course of life and cause pain. The need to repeat patterns is human nature; however, it can be unpleasant and frustrating to watch yourself repeat old behaviors while maintaining the hope of obtaining different results. This self-awareness is crucial for lasting change, as it will empower you to make intentional decisions and break free from deep-seated patterns. I prioritize the development of a safe and nurturing relationship that fosters respect, understanding and growth. I will listen attentively, offer feedback, and gently challenge you in ways that help you address core issues, such as early life experiences, stuck points, and complex family dynamics, rather than just focus on surface level symptoms. Insight can lead to "aha!" moments or breakthroughs, were you will gain clarity about your situation and path forward. I got my doctorate degree from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia where I pursued a specialization in couples and family therapy. Born and raised in Colombia, I have an appreciation for integrating aspects of culture into therapy that are meaningful to people. **Humbly acknowledging that I live and work on Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) land **
