Introduction

I’m Dr. Panicha McGuire, founder of Living Lotus Therapy and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist™ in California. I specialize in neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and liberation-oriented therapy for children, teens, adults, and families. My work supports people navigating ADHD, autism, identity, relationships, and the impact of systems that weren’t built with them in mind. As a late-identified AuDHD, Southeast Asian American, and queer therapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into my practice. I understand what it’s like to feel unseen or misunderstood, and I’m passionate about helping clients embrace who they are and create space for authenticity, healing, and growth. Outside the therapy room, I’m an educator, advocate, and community organizer dedicated to dismantling ableism and supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and neurodivergent communities. At Living Lotus Therapy, my goal is simple: to provide a safe, affirming space where your story matters, your identity is honored, and you can build a life that feels meaningful on your terms.
