Introduction

I am Paige Dee, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) offering telehealth-based mental health counseling services to clients across the state of Georgia. If you are struggling with finding meaning or are facing one or more mental health concerns that complicate your life, I would be truly honored to support you through your challenges. I will compassionately walk alongside you as you work to overcome the obstacles in your path while learning to implement beneficial changes, coping skills, and mindfulness practices throughout your life. I will also celebrate with you your successes, both big and small, as well as everything in between. I genuinely believe that each and every one of us holds individually intrinsic value that benefits all of our interconnected existence. And I will always respect and nurture your individuality as you strive to create and live a life that is most meaningful to you. While I have clinical experience and feel competent in supporting and working with many people and their presenting mental health concerns, I find supporting the following areas of concern to be most fitting and in line with my clinical expertise: • Anxiety disorders: generalized, phobias, and panic, along with environmental anxiety • Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD) • Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs): hair-pulling, nail-biting, and skin-picking • Perinatal struggles: anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, termination, grief, bonding, and attachment • Parenting struggles • Military Veteran difficulties • Military Dependent stressors • Attachment-style struggles and wounds • Values exploration and follow-through • Boundary exploration, implementation, and follow-through When it comes to anxiety-related disorders, I am passionate about treating generalized anxiety, phobias, OCD, and BFRB disorders. First-hand supporting clients as they bravely confront, work through, and overcome their struggles with various kinds and levels of anxiety, leading to building a sense of self-confidence and liberation like never before, has often proven to be one of my favorite therapeutic areas to support and witness as a clinician. I also love supporting birthing women, people, and their support systems throughout many perinatal domains. This includes supporting those who are deciding whether or not to start or grow their family, those trying to conceive, are pregnant, have just given birth, or are postpartum. I also really enjoy supporting parents throughout the subsequent years of embracing parenthood. Thinking about, trying to conceive, working through potential or present grief, transitioning into, or getting used to the ever-changing ebbs and flows of parenthood for a lifetime to come are often monumental experiences that deserves consistent support and deeper exploration. And for those who have experienced a pregnancy termination for one of a plethora of reasons, I am a safe person to explore the nuances of such decisions. As an Army Veteran myself and the spouse of a retired Veteran, I have a personal understanding of and enjoy serving military veterans and especially the dependents of military personnel. Living the lifestyle accustomed to the military is often a true sacrifice, filled with many wonderful and exciting adventures and undoubtedly also seemingly unrelinquished transition stress, loneliness, and anxiety. While I will happily enjoy alongside you the fun adventures that come with being a part of a military lifestyle, I would also be honored to steadily support you through the stress that is customary to this lifestyle. Additionally, supporting the exploration of personal attachment styles and healing attachment wounds, as well as encouraging clients to live in line with their personal values and desired boundaries, are also among my favorite therapeutic focuses. I would appreciate the opportunity to help you develop a sense of self-security and establish a guide for showing up and acting in values-aligned ways in your life personally and with others, ensuring you feel most authentically and securely yourself. To continue honing my skills and ensuring I am best equipped to address these specialty treatment areas of concern, I continually engage in or maintain specialty training certifications in various areas, where possible. For the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD, I am actively working towards earning my Certified Exposure and Response Prevention (CERP) certification through The Knowledge Tree. And for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, I hold a Perinatal Mental Health Counseling (PMH-C) certification through Postpartum Support International. I also regularly engage in various training sessions and consultation support for each specialty area, while taking advantage of additional training and consulting on areas that may extend beyond my clinical specialties to best support my clients and their ever-evolving needs. I will eclectically draw from therapeutic orientations such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, Intersectional Feminism, and others to guide our work together. Ultimately, I want you to know that while we work together, I will ensure that you never feel alone during your therapeutic journey and continue to feel supported. I would be honored to support you and genuinely look forward to providing the empowerment you deserve as you explore, define, and go on to live a life that is uniquely meaningful to you.
