I believe that we all live and breathe in community with each other. We each have our own individual tendencies, needs, preferences, personalities, gifts, and weaknesses. But all of these factors are also influenced by the family, social, and occupational groups to which we belong. I use a Family Systems perspective and developmental psychology to help individuals, couples, and families understand and navigate the complexities of their relationships. I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, DART, Virtual Reality Therapy, EX/RP, and CAMS, QPR, and ASIST for treating clients with suicidal thoughts. Some of my areas of focus include chronic illness, parenting, relationship issues, grief and loss, suicidality, stress, anxiety, LGBTQIA+, gender identity, life transitions, hoarding, and peer relationships.
