"I don't heal you; I help you heal yourself" is Nicole's motto for therapy. Through a personalized and integrative approach, Nicole combines traditional therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Jungian Therapy, with alternative and holistic approaches, including Somatic Therapy and Narrative Therapy, to empower you to navigate challenges with compassion, authenticity, and kindness. As a yoga teacher, she often draws on the mind-body connection component of yoga in sessions to support processing, symptom management, and relapse prevention. Working with Nicole, you can expect a calm and safe space where you are both challenged to grow and fiercely supported along the way. Therapy and healing don’t have to feel heavy all the time—she integrates moments of joy and lightness, helping clients feel better about themselves and their lives. Nicole specializes in self-esteem enhancement, shadow work (integrating parts of the self that one feels shameful about, rejects, or may not be aware of to more fully accept, like, and love oneself), ADHD, anxiety, and relationships. She is highly experienced in burnout resolution, parenting and co-parenting, complex trauma, codependency, multicultural issues, somatic processing, and substance use and addiction recovery. She finds that these issues often intersect, influencing one another, and approaches them in a holistic, connected way. Nicole works with adults, adolescents, and families and relationships of all configurations. Nicole received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and an internationally certified Registered Yoga Teacher. She is Level 2 trained in The Gottman Method for marriage and relationship counseling. Nicole became a therapist after working in university admissions, where she discovered she was best able to help students by talking with them about their personal lives—and many continued to visit her office long after enrollment to share updates and seek guidance. Nicole is a mom and values family, friendship, and community. She enjoys nature and art and strives to maintain her love for punk rock music, poetry, and art that speaks to resistance, empowerment, and connection. She embraces both sunshine and rain—literally and metaphorically—and brings a unique blend of optimism and grounded realism to sessions. Nicole communicates directly and honestly, always from a place of respect, kindness, and support. Her goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering space where clients can explore challenges, seek growth, and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Nicole sees clients online statewide and in-person in the Jupiter area. She offers free 15-minute phone or telehealth consultations to discuss whether working together is a good fit. Clients can also reach out to discuss tailored services, such as concierge in-home counseling or coaching.
