Introduction

Genuine Support and Skills to Help You Grow, Heal, and Take Ownership of Your Life I Therapy to Heal & Empower – Not Just Talk Expert Counseling & EMDR Therapy I’m Lauren Butcher, LCSW-S, a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through crisis and some of life’s most difficult challenges. I’m EMDR-trained and bring extensive experience from community work, trauma recovery, advocacy, psychiatric mental health, and family systems—working within some of the most complicated and stressful dynamics. My approach is grounded in neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and a deep understanding of emotional regulation, relational dynamics, and the mind-body connection. I specialize in helping people navigate challenges with emotional regulation, communication, and relationships—whether that means dealing with toxic or abusive patterns, narcissistic behaviors, high-conflict situations, or feelings of disconnection or lonliness. I also support those facing women’s issues, stress, burnout, marriage communication struggles, executive dysfunction, ADHD, high-functioning ASD, major life transitions, and life adjustments. My goal is to provide a compassionate, practical space where you can find healing, build healthier connections, and regain balance. Many of the people I work with are navigating complex family systems, co-parenting challenges, and high-stress environments or life transitions that can feel overwhelming. I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, focusing on how your nervous system and past experiences shape your current struggles. Together, we develop real-world tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, communicate more clearly, and create stronger, more fulfilling relationships. Supporting Children, Teens, Young Adults & Families At New Path Counseling & Wellness, we offer therapy for individuals ages 6 and up. Our clinicians help children, teens, and young adults manage anxiety, emotional and behavioral challenges, school issues, self-esteem, neurodiversity, identity development, eating disorders, college mental health issues, life transitions and adjustments, trauma, stress, family conflict, high-conflict, grief, caregiver stress, chronic medical conditions & health challenges, and more. We work collaboratively to help clients strengthen resilience, improve communication, and navigate challenges across all stages of life. We also support individuals and families navigating conflict, divorce, parent-facilitation, parenting challenges and adoption (triad). Services include specialized modalities such as Intensive EMDR sessions, Sandtray Therapy and Trauma-informed therapy, and are available in both English and Spanish. Many individuals seek private pay therapy for increased confidentiality, flexibility, and personalized mental health care. Unlike therapy billed through insurance, private pay or self-pay therapy allows clients to access services like trauma therapy, EMDR, anxiety treatment, ADHD support, and help with high-conflict relationships without a formal diagnosis or limitations set by insurance. Clients can often use their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA to pay for therapy and may receive superbills to apply toward out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. This approach ensures privacy, removes barriers to care, and supports customized treatment aligned with individual goals. Whether you're looking for online therapy, individual counseling, or a therapist who offers specialized care, private pay therapy offers freedom, choice, and high-quality support tailored to your needs. Superbills provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. If you are unsure of how to submit OON billing, we suggest utilizing Reimbursify.com
