Introduction

Sometimes we disconnect or build unhealthy coping mechanisms to maintain feeling safe in our own bodies. Becoming more mindful of our bodies can offer us a source of inner-knowing and powerful healing. I utilize mindfulness-based and somatic practices to help inform clients where they hold their emotions and help them move through it. In the therapeutic process, I consider the whole person and view each of my clients from a culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed lens, using an attachment-based approach, body-based practices, as well as art therapy. ​ Choosing a therapist can feel like a daunting task. I would love to meet you where you are at, learn more about what you are seeking, and together we will explore if we are a fit to engage in this impactful work.
