MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH: I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinician with over 10 years of experience providing therapy and assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. As the daughter of immigrants, I have a personal and professional understanding of the unique challenges faced by immigrant communities. In my immigration evaluation work, I approach each client with cultural sensitivity, compassion, and professionalism. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, which include clinical interviews, validated screening tools, and—when appropriate—review of medical, legal, or educational records. Each evaluation results in a comprehensive written report that highlights your unique circumstances and provides documentation to support your immigration case. ABOUT MY CLIENTS: I work with individuals and families navigating the immigration system who may be seeking: •Asylum – documenting psychological effects of persecution or trauma in your home country. •Hardship Waivers – highlighting the emotional, psychological, and medical impact of family separation. •VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petitions – providing assessments for survivors of domestic violence. •U Visas – documenting the psychological consequences of being a crime victim. •T Visas – documenting trauma related to human trafficking. My clients often come to me during a very stressful time in their lives. Many are experiencing fear, uncertainty, or trauma related to past or current experiences. I honor your story and aim to make the evaluation process as supportive and respectful as possible.
