Psychology Meredith Tumilty, PsyD LLC
Specialties: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, Fears/Phobias

Introduction

Meredith Tumilty has been a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts since 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College, before going on to complete a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Indianapolis School of Psychological Sciences. Meredith has worked with people across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. She has experience in residential, intensive outpatient, primary care, and standard outpatient levels of care. Meredith primarily works with patients and families struggling with various forms of anxiety and OCD. She provides the gold-standard, evidence-based treatments for anxiety and OCD: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP), and integrating strategies from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). She enjoys working with highly motivated individuals who are ready to take steps to restore the independence they have lost to anxiety/OCD. Meredith values collaboration between patients, family members, and other treatment providers. Anxiety and OCD do not happen in a vacuum, and neither should treatment. Her practice style is straight to the point, while also incorporating quite a bit of humor. She is an LGBTQ+ ally, and is welcoming to all people regardless of identity. Outside of work, Meredith enjoys spending time with family, friends, and four-legged friends. She can often be found with a book and an animal, or out in the garden! She can binge-watch shows with the best of them, and is an avid rugby fan!
