Hi, I’m Maidy Magadan (MS, LPC), a trauma‑informed therapist who helps people reclaim hope, safety, and resilience. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, or life transitions, I’m here to support you in rediscovering stability and meaning. As a Latina and first-generation professional, I recognize how cultural values, intergenerational patterns, and the weight of expectations can influence the emotional wellbeing of women. Thus, I support early to middle adulthood women who have experienced trauma and are looking to better understand, process, and move forward from the weight of those experiences. I’m trained in EMDR to gently process trauma, and I draw from CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic, expressive arts, and narrative therapy based on what fits your needs. This combination allows flexibility and personalization in your healing process. For example: EMDR for processing past wounds, IFS for exploring inner parts and identity, and DBT and CBT to build skills. My approach centers on empathy, validation, and collaboration. You’ll be met where you are—without judgment—recognized for your strengths, and supported as you work toward emotional growth and sustainable change. You don’t have to go this alone. Connecting with someone you trust can be the first step toward feeling grounded again.
