Hey I’m Lor (he/him) and I’m a neurodivergent, queer therapist! First, let me say that I’m proud of you for making it this far and taking steps to improve your life. I’m eager to learn what makes you who you are and help you process anything going on in your life that is holding you back. Populations that I commonly work with are the transgender and queer community, neurodivergent individuals, people who have experienced trauma, people in sobriety, and people living with OCD. I’m here to give you what you need, be that an empathetic supporter in your corner or developing tangible tools to improve things such as emotional regulation and communication. I don’t utilize a one size fits all approach, and instead want to tailor therapy to the unique circumstances and goals of the person in front of me. I strive to make my practice neurodivergent friendly–which means that I encourage clients to do whatever they need to do to make therapy feel less daunting. This can look like not making eye contact if you don’t want to, playing with fidgets in session (something I always do myself!), and sitting (or moving) in whatever way is most comfortable. In my free time, I can be found watching garbage reality TV with my partner and four cats, or performing as a drag queen. My passions outside of counseling are dancing, camping, and traveling!
