Introduction

Liz is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who graduated with her BSW from Simmons University and completed her MSW in clinical social work at the University of South Carolina. In addition to being a therapist, Liz is a mother, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a daughter & a friend to many. Liz is someone who others describe as warm, authentic and direct. You will witness these qualities through Liz's curiosity, humor and honest feedback during your sessions! Liz has extensive experience and training working with people who struggle with and who have found recovery and healing from substance use, grief, anxiety and depression. Her interventions draw from a variety of approaches but are grounded in cognitive behavioral and narrative therapies. Between sessions you will be provided with exercises and skill work to ensure that change takes root outside of the office-as this is the ultimate goal of working together. Liz's professional passion goes beyond supporting individuals and is deeply rooted in seeing families restored. Liz works with individuals, couples and families with adult children. Patients need to be located in Massachusetts at the time of the appointment.
