Beginning therapy can sometimes feel intimidating and overwhelming. Through a compassionate and kind approach, I provide a non-judgmental space where clients are free to be themselves and be heard. I use a blend of techniques including talk, art, mindfulness, play, and storytelling to create an environment of comfort and gentleness in working with things that may be painful to express. With this approach, people often find that what was once was painful becomes a source of empowerment. I am a licensed counselor with the state of Colorado. I completed undergraduate coursework at Metropolitan State University and graduate coursework at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I have worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, suicidal and homicidal teens, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and families struggling with connection and communication. Please know that you are not alone and I honor your decision to enter therapy and seek growth. Call me for a free phone consultation.
