Introduction

Starting counseling is intimidating, so well done for taking the first step towards improving your life! Finding the right therapist is important... you may have tried talk therapy for years without getting the results you hoped for. But if talking about your problems solved them, then talking to a wise and caring friend would have done the job and you wouldn't be looking for a new therapist now. I help clients address their challenges by tapping into the Amygdala--a deeper part of the brain where trauma is stored and the Vagus nerve by using Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and the Mindbody approach. Of course, there is plenty of talking involved but by using current knowledge of the brain/nervous system, stubborn thoughts/patterns can be resolved once and for all. Let's chat and see if I can help you!
