Introduction

Kyrsten, or just K, for short, is a trauma-informed counselor dedicated to supporting children and adults through healing and growth. With a deep understanding of how early life experiences shape emotional development, Kyrsten specializes in helping clients navigate the effects of trauma and chronic stress with empathy, safety, and trust. Combining evidence-based therapeutic approaches with mindfulness practices, while incorporating creativity and expressive arts, Kyrsten creates a calming, supportive environment where clients can learn to regulate emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths. Whether working with anxiety, grief, abuse, or post-traumatic stress, Kyrsten is passionate about empowering clients with tools that foster healing both in and beyond the therapy room. Rooted in a belief that every person can heal, Kyrsten integrates play therapy, art therapy, somatic awareness, and mindfulness techniques to meet clients where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and spiritually. Kyrsten also collaborates closely with families, communities, and caregivers to support the client's well-being in a holistic, comprehensive, and sustainable way.
