Introduction

Hello and welcome! My name is Krystyna Thompson and I have been working as a mental health therapist for 12+ years. I graduated from an accredited program from Iowa State University with a Masters in Human Development and Family Studies in 2012. Since then, I have enjoyed my work immensely. I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapy (LMFT) and am currently licensed in the state of Iowa. There are so many things I love about my work, but I especially enjoy working with clients and helping them find the fulfillment and happiness they deserve in life. Collaboration and autonomy is important to me, so I strive to work together with a client instead of instruct. I have experience working with trauma, PTSD struggles, depression/anxiety, substance addiction, sexual addiction (individuals and couples), betrayal trauma, and intimate relationship struggles.
