Introduction

Welcome! I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in mental health, including inpatient, outpatient and community settings, and work with both adolescents (16 and up) and adults. As we build the therapeutic relationship, my role is to guide you through deconstructing distorted beliefs that are developed throughout life and keep you stuck in suffering. I begin my work with you from a neutral approach, and my goal is to assist you in building toward actions that are meaningful and promote living your own values It is important to me to provide a personalized experience for each person who begins the therapy journey with me. This includes providing several evidence-based treatment approaches and working together to find the perfect fit for you! I received a Master of Social Work from Wichita State University in 2012 as well as my clinical licensure in 2017. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by the Behavioral Tech Institute, and I participate on the DBT team providing the full model of DBT. I am also trained in the following treatment approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
