Clients come into therapy for all sorts of reasons. Some of my clients are experiencing depressive or anxious symptoms that impact their life day-to-day. Others are looking for support through life changes including grief, relationships, work stress, having a baby, or adapting to chronic health conditions. Nearly everyone has experienced some level of trauma or intense stress and loss at some point in their life which may have had lasting impacts. Currently, I primarily work with teens and adults although I have served individuals across the lifespan from ages 6 and up. I pull from various treatment modalities so that we can tailor sessions to meet your unique needs and learning style. I spend time explaining the stress responses that we all have so that you can better understand patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We may explore skills to help you communicate more effectively or to soothe intense emotions.
