I am a Licensed Associate Counselor ( LAC) who believes in the power of self-improvement, inner strength, and most of all, the therapeutic relationship. I believe in creating a neutral and safe space for one to heal, and that there is light amongst some of our darkest shadows. I am person-centered and strength-based, having worked with the community for the last eight years, helping individuals struggling with the unique challenges that life brings. Possessing a certification in complex trauma, as well as working with higher levels of care, I have helped make a direct impact on those suffering from social determinants of health, mental disorders, addictions, and victims of violent crimes. I am considered to have a dynamic, eclectic approach, with the utilization of trauma-informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT) , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Inner child, Narrative therapies, and Expressive therapies. I believe that my clients hold the keys to their own kingdoms, and within the therapeutic relationship, they will learn the tools and gain the insight necessary to become better versions of themselves. I believe in looking for solutions, setting achievable goals, and moving forward with the power of one’s own narrative history. I am here to listen, and to help one navigate through the various challenges that life brings us, at all ages and stages.
