After 23 years of teaching middle school history, I’ve embarked on a new chapter—pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. My journey from the classroom to the counseling space is rooted in a deep desire to support adolescents and adults as they navigate the challenges of an ever-changing world. With a strong foundation in education and a wealth of life experience, I specialize in meeting people where they are, offering a compassionate, creative, and collaborative approach to growth and healing. Life has taught me that growth is rarely linear, and that’s what makes it beautiful. I’m passionate about walking with others on their journey toward healing, clarity, and authenticity—with empathy, humor, and heart.
