My approach to therapy is based on authenticity, acceptance, and empathy. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients and I work together to identify and address the roots of obstacles in their life, problematic behavior patterns, and negative core beliefs. I help clients process emotions and difficult life experiences, build on existing strengths and resources, and learn healthy coping strategies that enable growth and healing. I am EMDR-trained and have experience working in both outpatient eating disorder recovery and local private practice. I specialize in helping teens and adults work through issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, divorce recovery, trauma, grief & loss, self-esteem, perfectionism, body image, and disordered eating. My therapy style promotes curiosity, mindfulness, self-compassion, and, whenever possible, laughter.
