Hi, I’m Katherine McKoy (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I know firsthand that life can feel overwhelming at times, and asking for help takes courage. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can breathe, slow down, and focus on what matters most: your healing, your growth, and your peace of mind. I work with adults who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or past trauma. I’m especially passionate about helping clients manage overwhelm, build coping skills, and heal from experiences that still feel heavy. Many of the people I see are looking to break cycles, whether that’s generational patterns, negative self-talk, or carrying the weight of always being “strong” for others. In sessions, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. I draw from a range of approaches including mindfulness, CBT, self-compassion practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic tools to help you feel more grounded and connected. Together, we’ll focus on both practical coping skills you can use right away and deeper healing work when you feel ready. I am affirming of Black women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and anyone from marginalized or underserved communities. My heart is in creating therapy spaces where you don’t have to hide or shrink parts of yourself to be accepted. You deserve to feel seen, supported, and safe in your healing journey. If you’re ready to start therapy, or even if you’re just curious, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you take this next step.
