Julie's therapy career has been dedicated to supporting clients facing diverse challenges, with a particular focus on trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. She is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and has served clients who have experienced traumas such as physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, neglect, domestic violence, death of loved ones and various other traumatic events. Her practice utilizes a variety of evidence-based methods such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on direct practice. She received her Bachelor's in Family Life Education - Marriage and Family at the University of Central Oklahoma. She serves children, adolescents, adults, and families. Julie strives to create a safe and comfortable space where clients can feel truly heard and understood. Julie enjoys incorporating art activities into her therapy sessions when clients express interest, believing in the power of creative expression to facilitate communication and healing.
