Hello, I’m Josh, a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with a deep commitment to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, more connected lives. Before entering the field of therapy, I proudly served for 24 years in the Army and Army Reserves. Throughout my military career, I found my greatest sense of purpose in training, mentoring, and supporting soldiers through both personal and professional challenges. As I transitioned out of military service, I felt called to continue serving others, this time in a different capacity. My experiences navigating the complexities of leadership, trauma, family separation, reintegration, and resilience inspired me to pursue my long-standing goal of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. I bring that same sense of duty, compassion, and structure into my work with clients today. Whether you're facing relationship difficulties, communication breakdowns, life transitions, or unresolved pain from the past, I offer a grounded, supportive space to explore meaningful change. I’m especially passionate about working with veterans, first responders, and couples navigating stress, trust, and connection. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring each person’s lived experience, and tailoring the therapeutic process to support growth, healing, and insight. Together, we’ll explore not just the problems, but your strengths, values, and potential for lasting transformation. Insurance: I am an OON (Out-of-Network) provider who can submit for reimbursement on your behalf for you to receive possible reimbursement. Any insurances listed on our website or Psychology Today are ones our clients have had success with getting coverage and utilizing their OON benefits.
