Some parts of life can be a struggle. Maybe it's unhelpful or weird thoughts. Maybe it's your past not staying in the past. Maybe life right now is a challenge. It can and does get better. I have extensive experience with trauma recovery, stress and anxiety management, OCD, and personality disorder symptom management. I have treated folks in partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and hospital outpatient settings. This experience has given me a deep and wide understanding of what it takes to recover and to get to living. There are several approaches we can take to help you manage, cope with, and recover from your symptoms. If you are looking for a specific type of therapy, we could use EMDR, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT) skills, exposure response prevention (ERP), or radically open dialectical behavior therapy (RODBT). It's normal to be on the fence about therapy. It's brave that you are considering it. We will go at a pace that is comfortable for you and be flexible in our approach as you recover and your needs change. You don't need to be 100% ready to take the first step.
