Jessica Gurrentz is the owner and psychotherapist of Gurrentz Counseling, LLC. I support adults 18+ navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, stress, generational trauma, and more. I believe we have the innate ability to survive life's hardest days, and then flourish because of them. I also believe in the benefit of challenging clients during sessions. These challenges that arise during the therapeutic process are some of the most powerful indicators of how we can change our interactions with the outside world. I offer a unique approach to therapy that includes a more mindfulness-based and nature-based approach to IFS that allows us to tap into our inner strengths that may lie dormant due to stress, anxiety, depressive, or trauma blockers. By connecting our inner child back to ourselves, we can mend the disconnect between our mind and body that often shows up when we experience a trigger. In our work together, you can think of me as a guide helping you tend to your inner landscape - removing weeds of self-doubt, planting seeds of self-compassion, and nurturing the roots of your personal growth. Our journey is collaborative: you hold the map and compass, while I walk beside you to help illuminate the path ahead.
