I began my journey by volunteering in the public school system working with students to enhance their school experience. I later volunteered and helped facilitate a group for domestic violence victims. I saw a strength I had never seen in these women, and this is when I decided to get my MA in Counseling Psychology and become Psychotherapist. The opportunity to help others find their strengths and live the life they want to live is awe inspiring. Early in my career my focus was on children and teens. I also enjoy working with young adults and their many challenges. As couples started coming to me, I fell in love with the work and became trained in Gottman and EFT. Seeing a need in the Bay Area, I have training in Partner Betrayal Trauma through APSATS. I also have training in ACT, CBT, and Brainspotting. Betrayal Trauma Recovery Group Now Forming.
