Jenni is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wyoming and a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Liberty University. Before completing her master’s degree at the University of Denver, Jenni was a foster parent, mother, behavioral health professional, and nonprofit director, giving her years of experience in counseling and mentoring individuals, couples, and families with diverse backgrounds. Jenni has routinely worked with mental health, trauma, substance abuse, life transitions, grief, depression, relationship issues, and anxiety. She has experience working with clients from ages 18 to adulthood in person and via Telehealth. Jenni has practiced in psychiatric, medical, residential, and community mental health settings providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to all ages. Jenni believes in meeting clients where they are at and begins with building an authentic relationship. She practices trauma-informed care and believes each client is unique and deserves the utmost respect and advocacy. Jenni aims to provide a welcoming, safe environment that fosters trust, hope, healing, and growth. Jenni views therapeutic modalities as a toolbox for therapy but often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Animal-assisted Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy.
