Welcome, I'm glad you're here. My name is Jeannette Douglas, and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing psychotherapy to individuals seeking support with life’s challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or navigating a difficult life transition, I offer a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to face it alone. I was drawn to the field because I believe in the strength and resilience of people, even in the face of hardship. My background includes working with diverse populations in schools, community mental health, and court/advocacy-support settings. These experiences have taught me that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Each person’s story is unique, and so is the path to growth. In therapy, I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach which means I focus on your inherent abilities, not just your struggles. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, and I always work collaboratively with you to identify what’s working, what’s not, and how we can move forward together. As an LMSW, I bring both clinical knowledge and a social work lens to therapy, looking at how your environment, relationships, and lived experiences affect your well-being. My goal is to help you gain clarity, feel empowered, and reconnect with your values so you can move toward the life you want. If you're considering therapy, you're already taking a powerful step. I'm here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and care.
