Introduction

Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? I’m Jason Belcourt, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds navigate life’s challenges, gain clarity and insight, and access their inner resilience. Whether you’re facing relationship issues, emotional overwhelm, personal setbacks, or major life transitions, my commitment is to walk alongside you and support your journey toward healing, renewed purpose, and restoration. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and bring over 13 years of clinical experience. My background includes providing therapy in child and family behavioral health settings and working with individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working in private practice, helping individuals and couples manage emotional struggles, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s transitions. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as couples dealing with conflict, communication challenges, and disconnection. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process pain, find hope, and develop practical strategies for lasting growth. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. For clients who desire it, I also offer a biblically integrated and Christ-centered approach to therapy, honoring Christian values and principles. In our work together, you will be heard, supported, validated, gently challenged, and empowered—all within a professional and caring environment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and Georgia, I offer telehealth and in-person sessions to clients in both states. I am not accepting insurance at this time; however, I can provide a superbill upon request for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider directly to determine whether out-of-network benefits apply and if reimbursement is permitted. If this sounds like a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. Let’s connect.
