Janice A. Moran, Ph.D., LPC-S I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor licensed in Texas, Colorado, and Utah. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from trauma, and rediscover their sense of self. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, feminist, LGBTQ-affirming, and social justice care. I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Theory to create a supportive space where you can feel seen, valued, and empowered to make meaningful change. Whether you’re working through grief, relationship struggles, anxiety, or the impact of past experiences, I strive to meet you with compassion and curiosity. I have a special focus on supporting women who find themselves overfunctioning or people-pleasing in their relationships, helping them learn to set healthy boundaries and reconnect to their own needs and strengths. In addition to my clinical work, I’m passionate about mentoring new counselors as they develop their professional identities, and I enjoy teaching future therapists at the university level. When I’m not in the therapy room, you can often find me singing as a member of Lone Star Chorus, reading, or spending time with my community. If you’d like support in moving forward with intention and self-compassion, I would be honored to work with you. Dr. Janice
