I am a relational and systemic therapist that believes people heal in relation to one another and the systems in which they are a part of. I work with individuals, couples, and families struggling with challenges such as individual/generational trauma, sex/intimacy, adoption/fostering, multiracial couples/families, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ challenges. In addition to working in private practice, I am a full-time Family-Based Therapist serving families throughout Philadelphia. After working in family support for ten years, I graduated from Drexel University with my Masters of Family Therapy in 2021. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and draw from therapeutic models including Attachment-based, Experiential, Emotion-focused, Contextual, ESFT, and was trained in Person of the Therapist under founder Dr. Harry Aponte. As a Queer, Neurodivergent, Puerto Rican, Adoptee, I am passionate about supporting identity development through understanding disenfranchised grief, ambiguous loss, and psychological homelessness, as well as how these parts impact relationships we build with others. I am highly collaborative and seek to make a space that feels safe and liberating. Photo Above: "A piece of home", Utuado, Puerto Rico
