I am the son of an immigrant father and a white mother in an inter-faith household, I studied philosophy in college, I worked in technology, international development, and even had a stint in law. If my background has taught me anything, it would be intellectual humility and what it means to feel stuck "between things". This humility and feeling of "between-ness" is the backbone of my empathetic and curious approach. I believe many struggles arise from the need to be understood. My aim is to truly grasp your fluctuating inner world, knowing the task is impossible. We'll explore the unspoken emotions, stories, values, and morals that drive you. Sessions are tailored, drawing from various therapies. We may integrate philosophy, family dynamics, societal structures, or visual tools. Crucially, I practice respectful, paced listening, vital for trauma work. I use the intellectualization present in the room as a pathway to deeper emotional truths, revealing what truly lies beneath.
