Introduction

Making lasting changes in your life can be difficult, which is why searching for support is such an brave step. I’m a licensed psychologist who is dedicated to helping individuals learn how to develop healthier relationships with their thoughts, emotions, and important people in their lives. My work focuses on identifying unhelpful beliefs and learning how to gain acceptance of emotional experiences. I enjoy collaborating with people to help them discover or rediscover their inner strengths. In addition to working with individuals on a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression, I also have a particular interest in working with university students and athletes. I am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), integrating therapeutic approaches and neuroscience to help individuals address their fears and take back their lives. Psychological Testing & Assessment Services I am committed to providing comprehensive psychological testing and assessment services to help individuals, schools, and organizations better understand the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors that shape their experience. Assessments are designed with a holistic, patient-centered approach that ensures you feel heard, supported, and informed throughout the entire process. I offer a range of psychological tests tailored to address various needs, from identifying intellectual strengths and cognitive challenges to understanding neurodiversity and mental health. These assessments can provide valuable insights into how you think, learn, and interact with the world around you. What We Assess We offer the following testing services: Intelligence Testing: A comprehensive evaluation of intellectual abilities to provide insights into strengths and areas for growth. This can help with decisions regarding academic placement, career counseling, or understanding general cognitive functioning. Learning Disability Assessments: Designed to identify specific learning difficulties that may impact academic performance, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia. These assessments help pinpoint areas where targeted support can make a significant difference. Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) Testing: A thorough evaluation for ADHD, assessing attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity across various settings. This can be crucial in understanding how these factors may impact daily functioning and academic or work performance. Giftedness Testing: Giftedness assessments identify individuals who exhibit exceptional intellectual abilities or talents beyond the typical developmental range. These assessments can help determine whether a child or adult may benefit from specialized educational programs or advanced learning opportunities. Giftedness testing can provide clarity on: Academic enrichment or acceleration needs Specific areas of intellectual or creative strength Support strategies for children who may feel isolated or misunderstood in traditional educational settings Personality Testing: Personality assessments are designed to help individuals better understand their personal traits, preferences, and behavioral patterns. These tests provide insights into how a person perceives the world, interacts with others, and responds to different situations. Personality testing can be especially helpful for: Gaining self-awareness and improving emotional intelligence Identifying potential career paths or areas for personal development Understanding interpersonal dynamics, such as how someone interacts with colleagues, friends, or family If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation with me, please send an appointment request. If you're not in-network with the health insurance plans I take, you might be able to get reimbursed for out-of-network therapy.
