Introduction

Hi there... first of all, congratulations on taking this courageous step in seeking therapy. Whether this is your first time or you’re returning to therapy, it’s not an easy decision, and I commend you for it. It looks like you’re ready to emerge as your most authentic self! Are you navigating grief, loss, or a major life transition? I understand that grief extends far beyond the death of a loved one. As a specialist in thanatology (the study of death, dying, and bereavement), I have a deep understanding of loss in its many forms. Whether you're mourning the end of a relationship, a career shift, unmet expectations, or even the emotional weight of fertility struggles, I recognize how profound these experiences can be. Perhaps you're facing challenges in your marriage or relationship, communication breakdowns, trust issues, or the strain of infertility. Maybe you're wrestling with anxiety, self-doubt, or the feeling that life hasn’t unfolded the way you hoped. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where your emotions are fully acknowledged. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover underlying patterns, and work toward healing, resilience, and renewed hope. I combine psychodynamic and person-centered approaches to help you process past experiences while empowering you to move forward with confidence. Whether you're healing from loss, strengthening your relationships, or navigating the complexities of fertility and family-building, I would be honored to walk this path with you. In your first session, we’ll start with a brief introduction (since most information will have been collected beforehand). We’ll discuss confidentiality, the concerns that brought you here, and begin setting goals for our work together. This session is about building trust and laying the foundation for meaningful growth. Looking forward to supporting you on this journey.
