Gloria Allhiser is a licensed professional counselor serving the Fox Valley community since 2018, with over two decades of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. Her work is rooted in the belief that symptoms are not signs of brokenness, but reflections of the mind and body’s remarkable ability to adapt. At In Between Counseling, Gloria creates a compassionate space where clients can explore the places they feel stuck—whether that’s anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational pain, parenting stress, or spiritual wounding. She brings a deep respect for each person’s story and works collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their needs, reclaim their sense of self, and move toward meaningful change. Gloria is especially passionate about supporting individuals healing from religious or spiritual trauma and those navigating the complex terrain of emotional and nervous system regulation. Her approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and grounded in current neuroscience. Gloria holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Lakeland University (2014) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies from St. Norbert College (2004). She is a member of the American Counseling Association and is committed to lifelong learning in the service of healing, connection, and human flourishing.
