Introduction

Erin Scott, LICSW: License ISW04102 Erin holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rhode Island College and is independently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Rhode Island. With over 15 years of experience, she has served in diverse clinical settings including pediatric inpatient units, children’s emergency departments, nonprofit organizations, and home-based therapy programs. Erin currently facilitates support groups for pediatric oncology parents, teenagers managing chronic medical diagnoses, and individuals navigating grief and loss. Her clinical expertise includes working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, and abuse, as well as those coping with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life stressors. Guided by a passion for holistic well-being, Erin integrates faith-based principles into her counseling practice, supporting clients through relational healing with God, others, and their communities. She offers a supportive and compassionate presence, encouraging individuals to find safety, relief, and hope amid life’s struggles. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in solution-focused, goal-oriented methods, and incorporates scripture and biblical principles as desired by the client. Erin’s dedication to this work is deeply rooted in her personal experience. In 1996, her son was diagnosed with pediatric cancer and passed away shortly thereafter. This profound loss gave Erin a unique perspective and deep empathy for the challenges faced by patients and their families throughout the healthcare journey. Erin lives in Rhode Island with her husband, Mike. They are proud parents of three adult children and are joyfully anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” Isaiah 58:11
